7. Blaschke Ballet

The concept of the Blaschke Product captivated me with its mathematical elegance and its ability to transform and map the complex plane in such intricate ways. Its underlying structure — combining geometry, symmetry, and fluid motion — felt inherently artistic, sparking my curiosity to explore its visual potential. This fascination became the seed for what eventually evolved into Blaschke Ballet, a project where I aimed to translate the abstract beauty of the Blaschke product into dynamic, flowing visuals.

The development process was both analytical and creative, blending mathematical rigor with artistic intuition. I began by experimenting with how the Blaschke product could deform and distort shapes, creating intricate patterns of movement that resembled a choreographed dance. Each iteration revealed new possibilities, as I adjusted parameters and explored how the forms interacted with one another. The project became an interplay between control and spontaneity—letting the mathematical framework guide the structure while leaving room for artistic discovery.

The final result is a celebration of the intersection between math and art, offering a visual exploration of transformation and symmetry that feels both precise and poetic.
